As agreed during the sprint team meeting (22.03) the second iteration for the data exchange stream is completed
The result is the approved marge request 175! - Update file Proposed_Data_Exchange_Criteria.md
As a next step Thierry Moineau will propose an initial scope for the for the next iteration with a main focus on data intermediary

(19.03.24) Giuditta updated the MR 175 – see here
In order to make it more readable (I left the mandatory information from PRCD 23.11 as hidden notes in Markdown, to work on them later).
While reviewing it, I made some changes that I would like to highlight to you, and I have some questions for you:
(change): I uniformed in the criteria “compliant” and “conformant” to “compliant”, which is the more general term.
(change) D1.1.1 & D1.1.2.a: we previously indicated as “assessment process” Validation/Verification by GXDCH, but thinking about it, and following what we wrote for the next criteria in the section, I thought that we should have also here “Declaration (1st party assessment activity)” because we require declarations that then are validated/verified by the GXDCH (see also the slides from 15 to 17 in the attached presentation by Pierre – also available on the Members Platform)
(question) D1.1.2.a: we refer in the criterion to “Gaia-X compliant Participant”, but our definition of “Participant” already includes compliance-see – should we maybe refer simply to “Gaia-X Participant”?
(question) D1.1.2.b: we refer to “Data Consumers with a Gaia-X compliant description”, would it be easier/correct to refer to “Data Consumers that are Gaia-X Participants”?
(question) D1.1.3: while re-reading it, I was not sure about the requirement to have documents signed through a “Gaia-X authorized Trust Service Provider”. Perhaps I just forgot the reasoning behind it, but I’d like to ask you if you can double check it.
(change) D1.1.4: since ODRL is required in the assessment process, I added it also within the text of the criterion.
Thank you in advance for your feedback on the elements above and on the MR more in general.
If we manage to agree on it, we can present it/submit it to approval by the PRC tomorrow. It won’t be probably exhaustive in terms of detail and (further) rules to be included, even for the upcoming release of the PRCD, but it would a first step.
